But since we've met a few times, and I in fact knew that you like alternative rock and don't like hip hop - actually, I'm pretty sure we had this exact exchange before in person - I thought there might be room for some jest. I like to poke fun at stereotypes. It'd be quite another thing if I said, "Oh you're black? I know stuff you're going to love!" without knowing anything else about you as a person.
