your choice in this matter is between a French word (courgette) or an Italian one (zucchini). Although of course if one is gonna go for the Italian, the correct singular would be "zucchino".


What with the Italians being worse than the French and all:|
Plus, given the nature of English, it is a pretty could rule to use the French origin word over the Italian one if you are in doubt - you are more likely to have picked the right one.
