I remember I left early for school that day because I wanted to shoot the breeze with a buddy of mine and our history teacher (he was, and still is, a pretty damned cool guy). The English teacher came running in to tell us that a plane had crashed into the first tower. We were all watching live when the second plane came. It was pretty intense. I remember that we didn't really have class at all that entire day. We just sat and watched the tv.
