I've noticed that a lot of authors use grey as an eye color. I've recently been reading the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher and the guy describes every new character as having grey eyes (and I'm only exaggerating slightly. I should keep a running total). Anyway, after growing very tired of this, I looked it up online. And wouldn't you know, people do have a shade of grey for eye color! I have linked below a picture. I have never seen this, though. I've only ever seen shades of blue, green, and brown.
What are some unusual eye colors you have seen? I knew this one girl with a beautiful set of golden brown eyes.

Lol. Yeah a lot of eye colors depend on the lighting. Maybe grey only exists in light *NM*

Pure green is pretty odd too

I have sort of green-gray eyes, and it does depend on lightning. I wish mine were grayer though. *NM*

All depends on how you define grey, I guess. One of mine is sorta grey in the right light. *NM*

My eyes are blue/grey. They can appear to be either, depending on lighting and angle. *NM*

I concur with the "variant of blue" line of thought being expressed. *NM*

I love when people use half a dozen colors to describe their eyes
