We already have quite a robust pharmaceutical industry targeting symptoms rather than illnesses to such an extent they sometimes seem to be ignoring the latter entirely. And they don't want a competitor you can grow in your backyard (OK, fine, harvest from your local ranchers fields unless he's using feed with fungicide, not that I've ever done that. ) You know the automatic response to this as well as I, I'm sure: There are plenty of other drugs out there that improve mood and reduce anxiety but AREN'T Schedule I controlled substances.
