What about a 2008 350z? Just a couple years old, several years of warranty remaining, won't have more than 10-20k miles on it, etc. And since the 350z turned into the 370z, not as many people want the older model anymore. You can get an '08 350z for 20-23k. Something along these lines.

I had considered it but decided it wasn't for me. I've gotten used to the new car smell and having that wonderful factory warranty at my beck and call. Buying a used car can be a good deal but it's also pretty risky.I wouldn't have any problems buying a 3 year old Toyota Camry or a Honda Accord. I would be a little more skeptical about what a 3 year old red manual sports car has been through.

Ditto on the genesis coupe. I'm not really digging the gas mileage on the V6 genesis coupe and it's price premium over the V6 mustang is in no way justified. There are the other mainstream coupe alternatives in the form of the Accord Coupe and the Altima Coupe but at the end of the day they are just truncated (if barely) Accords and Altimas at prices higher than their sedan counterparts. The 2012 Ford Focus is the eurospec (or globalspec) version that is coming out, but it won't be here until well into 2011. The hatchback does look really nice and is a good compromise between sporty and practical (twin clutch automatic anyone?) but I don't really want to wait that long, and again I am distrustful of ford in particular and American manufacturers in general.
