The point was there's nothing "offensive" at all about either one. I'm just noting the silliness of the xenophobic arguments about "disrespecting hallowed ground".


I thought you might have actually had something to say on the matter, complete with a Thompsonian Marxist slant!

I once spent a long weekend in Hiroshima to see and catch up a friend. The Atom Bomb Dome, Peace Park and Peace Museum were the first places I had her show me around. They all made a mark on me, especially the cenotaph in the park. The museum, though, pissed me off more than a little with its account of "history".
