I might be taken back a bit if they did it without at least asking if I minded. It also wouldn't bother me to ask them to not cough all over my food. If I am bored I don't mind talking to strangers but if I was trying to read and they kept talking I might smile, put on some headphones and hold my paper higher, maybe give it a good rattle.


Apparently you are less socially inhibited than me. I dream up scenarios where I do things pointedly like that, but I'd never do it in real life.
