From what I have read this is not going to be some little humble mosque/community center but a giant glass walled structure. Is there any reason to believe that their motives are as pure as they claim? From what I have read the man behind it all refuses to denounce Hamas as a terrorist organization and he has ties to the organization organizing the ships coming out of Turkey.

They claim this is all about bring people together but I don’t see them out there talking about it. I don’t believe that the should be prevented from building there but I do think they have opened themselves up to legitimate criticism and since it is obvious that their actions are not help things I suspect their motives are deeper.
