There must be a large enough muslim population whoo work and live in that area, or the project wouldn't have been feasible to begin with.
I should think that there are enough muslims nearby to fill another mosque since there are already at least a dozen in the area, if you're raising this as an indicator that mosque coverage is abnormally low in that area as a function of pop density, that would be a reasonable supporting case for building one, if true - show data - but certainly has nothing to do with whether or not '2 blocks is not near even though the builder or objectors say it is', please clarify remarks.
I meant that if the population wasn't sufficiently large enough to support another mosque, they wouldn't have gotten this far with the project ion the first place.I guess it's similar to figuring out how many people can support a certain number of McDonald's restaurants in a certain area. "But there's another Mickey D's just down the road". However, they're both packed at lunchtime. If the population wasn't large enough to accomodate both facilities, a second (or another) one wouldn't have been built in the first place.
I was just speculating.
