That, and the fact I've been unimpressed by what little I've seen of Rosetta Stone is all I have to offer (I gots my OWN problems, man; at least you won't be looking for work in Karachi this Christmas! ) Frankly, Rosetta Stone strikes me as a bit of a ripoff, because it only seems to have the most commonly spoken and learned languages. That is, the ones in which tutors and teachers, free and otherwise, are the most widely available. Yeah, I need to drop $200+ learning Spanish from Rosetta Stone, because my coworkers Juan and Jose couldn't teach me if I really wanted to know (that's not being racist, those are actually their names. ) If I want to learn, say, Tibetan, all Rosetta Stone can tell me is "go find a Tibetan" which I'm able to figure out on my own is the less expensive AND superior approach.

Yeah, it would be silly to waste your time on Devanagari when you need to learn the Arabic alphabet.
