the declining birth rate is part of why I was thinking about this the other day. I'm wondering if there are some triggers that kill our need/want to have children, or if it's purely a mental issue. I've never really wanted children, but maybe my inclination isn't a new thing. It could simply be that modern women/couples can easily uphold the decision not to have them.
Very cool read on genetics/evolution.
