When I was a kid, I was on a field trip, in a very poorly lit buffet dining hall. The main course was rubbery pasta or something, so I decided to hit the salad bar for my meal.

I saw these glistening red disks, and I thought "Ah! This is a fancy salad bar, they have cranberry sauce (albeit canned cranberry sauce)!"

So I took some cranberry sauce discs with my salad, went back to my seat, took a biiiiiig bite... and, BEETS.


Ugh.
