But I must admit I kind of want a cat and a turtle, which both fall in one category, I suppose. It is not that I do not want pets, it is more that they will kill me if I have them around for long.
He is also somewhat humanoid, from what I remember. And if allergies will kill you, how do you plan to keep a cat?

No, I have heard that the Insane Rampaging Immune System can get used to individual cats -- so I would be sick for about half a year, probably, and then it would be fineish. I'd make it an outdoor cat and wash the flat often.
