I say Arbor Day. Pretty much no one celebrates it and probably only 5% of the average population could even tell you what it was about. It basically takes up space on a Calendar and leads to nothing.
I agree that fireworks that are all thunder and no lightning are a waste materials and time.
Peachy-keen.
Sure. Depending on if it was somewhere I'd thought about positively before and had the job/money to support the decision.
I generally think it can be revived if you want to. For instance, if you drift apart because you don't enjoy their company of their significant other and they break things off with that person... well, that's one example where you might enjoy hanging out with someone again.
They can... so long as you enjoy a little sexual tension now and again.
I don't really have seasonal food preferences. The seasons don't really dictate what I eat.
I know how and have done so, but I don't enjoy it and I prefer automatic. I'm American.
Spun out on a snowy-icy road in a van through oncoming traffic into a ditch on the far side of the road. It was an older van that didn't have great traction and no anti-lock breaks.
Probably driving to Central Florida from Northeastern Indiana. I don't recall how long it took, hours-wise.
Nope.
How very adventurous of you. Are you a mail order bride or something?
I don't like the Fourth. Going to see a fireworks display is one thing, but when your crazy redneck neighbors set explosives off all week (beginning at eight in the morning) and don't even create pretty lights with them - well, it's stupid. Also, my puppy has never been more petrified.

2. How have you been?
Peachy-keen.
3. Would you ever move (permanently) to a place you had never seen or visited before?
Sure. Depending on if it was somewhere I'd thought about positively before and had the job/money to support the decision.
4. How do you feel about lapsed friendships - something that can always be revived, or a sign that loyalty is missing? If the latter, how long before you call it quits on the relationship?
I generally think it can be revived if you want to. For instance, if you drift apart because you don't enjoy their company of their significant other and they break things off with that person... well, that's one example where you might enjoy hanging out with someone again.
5. Can exes ever really be friends?
They can... so long as you enjoy a little sexual tension now and again.
6. What is your favorite summer food?
I don't really have seasonal food preferences. The seasons don't really dictate what I eat.
7. Do you know how to drive a manual car? What country are you from?
I know how and have done so, but I don't enjoy it and I prefer automatic. I'm American.
8. What's the scariest driving experience you've ever had?
Spun out on a snowy-icy road in a van through oncoming traffic into a ditch on the far side of the road. It was an older van that didn't have great traction and no anti-lock breaks.
9. What's the longest (most driving hours per day) road trip you've ever done?
Probably driving to Central Florida from Northeastern Indiana. I don't recall how long it took, hours-wise.
10. Do you have any books or pieces of literature you reread yearly (or according to some other sort of schedule)? What are they?
Nope.
Other news with me - am planning to set out for my new home in WA, bright and early Tuesday morning. It will be a long drive, and I don't entirely know where I'll end up. I hope it will be nice.
