The Dutch still haven't won one though
They are Unofficial World Champions though, still.
All the same, I'm just waiting now for the huge internal row that completely tears the team apart... they are leaving it late this WC.

They had a mini-row when Van Persie made a fuss over being substituted against Slovakia, but he apologized and the matter was closed. This time, I think they realize they aren't so good that they can win it without remaining a solid team, and so they'll sacrifice their egos for a chance to win glory as the team that did what Cruijff couldn't.
What is odd though is that Van Marwijk always brings on the same substitutes... and sometimes really pointlessly so. What on earth was the point of bringing on Huntelaar for Van Persie yesterday? It almost feels like he thinks he has to use his three substitutions every game, and if he doesn't need three, he'll do a pointless one like that one. After all, Van Persie can do everything Huntelaar can and more, with the possible exception of scoring really easy balls - but you're not likely to get many of those in five minutes against Brazil, to say the least. Er, to get back to the point though, maybe among the never-used substitutes the atmosphere isn't as good.
Well will you look at that. I wasn't expecting that... but bye bye Brazil it is.

I'm surprised so many people seem shocked by this, or didn't expect it.
