and I was terrified but desperate to do it. I hate taking medicine and sedatives and stuff so I didn't even take the valium they offered me. And it was fine. Not the most pleasant 10 minutes of my life but sooooo worth it.

The only downside for me is a little bit of trouble driving at night. I see really bad halos around lights at night especially in the rain. I can still drive at night, I just have to concentrate a little harder than I used to.

And I was only sore for the first night after I had it. In the morning there was no pain just a little blurry and dry.


Good. I am doing it on a Thursday afternoon and am hoping to be able to do a little biking Sunday if not Saturday. I hate sitting around.

I know it will be because my eyesight is soooo bad. My contact prescription is 10.5 (diopeters?). I am actually att the tail end even for LASEK. The doctors had to double-check my numbers before approving surgery. But, when I think of it I get anxious but I also get a little giddy.

Oh! And I wouldn't go watch it on youtube. I think that would just be creepy and more stressful for you.


Yeah, maybe after the surgery when it won't freak me out but I don't think I should give into my curiosity on this one.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
