It'll be interesting to see if short-term he suffers like the elder Bush did and if long-term some of the most "unsavory" elements of his policies end up being practical, necessary changes.
18 years later, I still think the elder Bush got the shaft, being the fall guy for the worst of Reagan's policies and not being appreciated for a long time for paving the way for the Clinton boom years with the deficit elimination.
