well this is,really, a drastically different situation LadyLorraine Send a noteboard - 21/06/2010 08:11:39 AM
In this case, the arrested man was actually HOLDING the stroking woman in his arms. That police officer could have ended up being directly responsible for her not making it into a doctor in time for proper treatment, simply for being an anal stickler.

Whereas your friend's situation is still sad, but his dad wasn't magically going to live if he did make it there and no one's life was on the line.

In this case, that officer directly put another person in danger of their life.

the point is, the officer is not required to show compassion, only enforce the law - 21/06/2010 11:53:51 PM 672 Views

I'm saying the fact that the law was broken is totally irrelevent, - 23/06/2010 02:15:56 AM 845 Views
How can it be even slightly irrelevant, let alone "totally" so? - 25/06/2010 03:24:19 PM 715 Views
It is sad when idiocy and a lack of judgment becomes codified into law backed with enforcement power - 21/06/2010 09:56:32 PM 1157 Views
