They're already invoking a century old maritime law that would limit their liability to no more than $27 million. Here's the kicker... Transocean has already accepted $411 million from their insurance company. So even though their rig exploded and 11 workers were killed, they can actually turn a nice profit from this if the maritime law holds out in court.
