I think it will be in the next book. Why? Look at the prime suspects:

1. If it's Graendal, then it could logically go into the next book since Sanderson said we would hear more "about" Graendal in the next book. If Graendal was really destroyed by Rand's balefire, then the next book is the ONLY place where Graendal would logically make such a revelation.

2. If it's Lanfear, Moiraine would probably know how it went down due to being in the Tower of Benji.

Also, I think Sanderson wants to space out "revelations" so something big is revealed in each book. In the last one, Verin's status was finally clarified. In this one, Asmo's killer will be revealed. In the final one, we'll find out who Demandred is pretending to be.
