Actually, I doubt I'll ever seek Norwegian citizenship.

You know - to marry a Norwegian to gain Norwegian citizenship.
Seriously, all good things come to those who wait. Be patient and I am sure it will work out.

Norway doesn't allow dual citizenship. Well, OK, technically it does in any of five scenarios, but they basically boil down to "if relinquishing your citizenship would result in forfeiture of a years income and/or execution at dawn it is not obligatory. " And if I'm going to have to apologize to every European I meet for what those idiots in DC are doing I want to retain as much control over them as possible.
But, yeah, thanks, man. Just getting more difficult to be patient. On the other hand, what choice do we have...?

One thing I learned in the USA was never to say "we met on the internet" to immigration officials.
