We wouldn't be limiting ourselves to conventional weapons at that point. Tactical nuclear shells from artillery comes to mind. Note that the US recently refused to rule out the use of nuclear weapons against North Korea when it said that it would never use nuclear weapons except in defense against nations that were parties to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Seeing as PRC wouldn't care too much about mass casualties on their end.
Oh, by the way...has anyone noticed how close the Korean peninsula is to war?
