One reason I like Romance languages is that their grammatical structures reminds me of certain Southern grammatical rules, ones that make much more sense than British or Yank ones.
And the rest he said he wouldn't complain about for once.
And as for that similarity, if one needed any further proof that Southerners are closet French, the last Super Bowl provided it.
