My husband bought me an iphone, yay! It's so new, I haven't even touched it yet, I'll see it when I get home.
You'll enjoy it, I'm sure, despite Apple being huge fascists (you'll learn what I mean as you use the phone, if you don't already know, that is)... annnnnnd a huge lightning bolt struck just outside 
1. What's your favorite phone app?
If I have to pick just one... it would be Skype. I can call anyone on Skype for free using WiFi (or even 3G or Edge with some iHacking). It's great for me because I travel outside the country and roaming charges would put me in default.2. What are the apps you use the most?
Skype, Airside, MyWi, My3GMyWi lets me use the 3G data signal to browse on my laptop (tethering). My3G tricks the iPhone into letting me run my apps as if they were on WiFi even if I am only on 3G.
3. What are apps that you maybe don't use frequently but couldn't do without?
Oh, absolutely couldn't live without jailbreaking my iPhone. Screw you, Apple! I bought the phone and want to use it without your dumb restrictions. So, I couldn't live without: Cydia, Rock, Backgrounder, BossPrefs. Also, Alarm Clock on a number of occasions. 
And, Skype + Backgrounder = screw roaming
4. Are there any apps you wish you wouldn't have bothered with?
Plenty...Pandora (don't know why so many people are obsessed with it), Facebook... and I don't even remember cuz they were just so bad. I don't buy apps very often (the only ones I've bought are MyWi, My3G, and an anatomy atlas). Everything else was free so just try as many as you like
