What it requires is guesses, not sequential logical thinking.
Guessing wouldn't work.
You guess then you test your guesses. I don't get these kind of puzzles. I mean, REALLY. And it's not because I'm bad at logical thinking. Or maybe I am.
But humor me. Walk me through the mental steps that would let you arrive at the solution.
Well, like Jack said, the fact that they threw the + signs in is not as good as if they just used commas. That way, you would have to notice the pattern/sequence. With the + sign, you assume there is a hidden function, and I suppose there is... but this way they tell you to look for the function (guess and check?)

Based on the view count I would say at least half the people have decided to cheat *NM*

You would need a good base in math to figure it out. *NM*

I'm a little confused by this. *kind of spoiler*

I thought of that, but that doesn't seem to lead anywhere, so dropped that line of thought...

Yeah, probably 99.9% of people won't get this, but it has less to do with patterns I think (spoiler)

I never like base change ones, let me see if I can remember one...

To save confusion, anyone who gets that just give it in base 10 *NM*

Ths is not a logic problem. It's a puzzle.
