I think a lot of people who haven't been... how to put it? Emotionally codependent with wotmania? Something like that. The people who see it more as an entertainment/discussion resource, and less of a social/support network, tended to be very quick with the transition. And I completely get that, but at the same time, I don't like being looked down on for my attachment.

From a strictly Buddhist standpoint, all attachments become negative. Let it go...

I love Rafolites and pre-Rafolites, though! It was you who came up with that, yes?

All I remember is having a discussion about the Raphaelites and pre-Raphaelites on alpha. Am I the "Tom" everyone is crediting that to? I might have written it, but I don't remember.

Have you talked to Ben about it? I guess it's technically something I could do, layout-wise, but it really feels like it should be an administrative decision.

I suggested it and he said it wasn't a priority at the time (this was during alpha). I'm not sure if he plans on doing it.

Hmm. The general vibe I'm getting is that most people are pretty happy with (or apathetic about) the current design, so I'm not sure I want to invest many hours into making a new one, based on current responses. It seems like most people would be happy with a few more color options and some tweaking. What do you mean by "upgraded," exactly?

Oh, I just mean maybe rounding off the corners of boxes and upgrading the folder icon - sort of mild aesthetic changes to set this site apart from the old wotmania a bit. I think it would be good for the site to look and feel similar, but not identical.

Yours is very nice. What is the phonetic value of the i, btw?
phonetic value /ai/ (the i in "hi" )

Oh, and now I accidentally deleted the part of the post talking about the month of May. I just like it because, at least in New York, the flowers are still out, the weather is nice and yet it's not so hot that it's uncomfortable to be outside. Also, it tends to rain very little in May.
You can also write that as "Stalin" *MySmiley*
