There is nothing new here. Guy Fawkes became the newest American patriot four years ago. The Tea Party movement is just a continuation of the same for those who believe the government is tyrannical. Why wouldn't they use the same popular, powerful symbol they used in 2006-2008?

We're talking about the mainstream leadership of the GOP here; they're not going to intentionally associate themselves with anything that might be construed as treasonous. If they don't have Jesus, the flag and moms apple pie to rally around they might have to campaign on ISSUES! (8
