but then I guess if you were smart enough to figure out how to lock down your router you'd be smart enough to know how to change the password too....


A lot of people (at least by where I live) leave their network unsecured for downloading purposes. They feel that if the line is unsecured, then the agencies given the task of tracking down illegal activities will have a harder time placing the blame, because anyone within X radius can use the open wifi.


that whether or not your wifi is open, you should change the password on your router otherwise what's stopping me from joining your network and changing your settings and locking you out of your own hardware?
