If you do get a coach, maybe you should just stay on it all the way to Norway? Although I don't know how you could ensure you get on that boat...
Even if you can't get on a boat in Bergen, at least you'll be in your home country where you have a better chance of free accommodation. And since Norway is unencumbered by ash and Scotland is occasionally so (compared to the rest of Europe where it just isn't going away), you might have a better chance of getting a plane from Norway to Scotland before too long. Maybe.
