When responding to a message with text (meaning, not an *NM
, I don't get an *NM* tag, even if I don't touch the body of the message at all. Messages with nothing but quotes from previous posts should receive *NM* tags, I would think. Not sure if this is a bug or feature, but it definitely seems that it should be changed.

Scratch that. I just saw a post with several level of quotes where it didn't work. *NM*

That if I preview it, and then post it I dont get the *NM* everytime...

Re: NM messages
Empirical testing suggests that the problem occurs when there is a quote of a quote. I tested it in one of my posts and was able to turn the *NM* on and off based on whether there were nested quotes or not.

This is driving me slightly up the wall
I keep having to edit my empty messages to put *NM* in them. A minor obstacle in daily life, compared to, say, violent bands of armed rogues or lack of food and clean water, but still...
