Collapsed thread replies after certain amount of threads

At first I was SO HAPPY that the Readandfindout threads didn't collapse after 100 posts.
Now I'm getting horrible sidebars and weirdly compacted thread titles. It's very distracting and hard to read. Not to mention that no likes a side bar
Would it be possible to change this, or have we decided at some part that it's a bad idea? I scrolled down pretty far, but not all the way.

You only get the compacted titles on those out far to the right

Those titles would still look the same when you opened the sub-thread they're in. And it's needed if threading is to work properly (i.e. being able to figure out who replied to whom). If we want to keep that, the only thing you'd get rid of is the bottom scrollbar until you open one of the deep sub-threads.
