I have thought about reading it but I am not really interested in politicaly motivated cyberpunk. Am I wrong in thinking that is what this book is?


Or if he is, it's done in a totally unrealistic and tongue-in-cheek fashion.

It's an incredibly quick and easy read, and it's on Time magazine's Top 100 list, so you've got little to lose and a lot to gain by picking it up. Highly recommended.
