It's fanfiction, and it's brilliant.
The premise is basically this: What if HP were the ultimate Ravenclaw rather than the ultimate Gryffindor? He's no less of an annoying, thoughtless turd; but the story is far more interesting this way. And if you are an xkcd kind of geek, then you might enjoy it for reasons other than the story anyhow.
