A pity - Edit 1

Before modification by Larry at 09/04/2010 01:32:57 AM

a lot of squirrels will die slowly and horribly in the stories, that could be fun in a cathartic kind of way.

Damn destructive pests...

Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

I remained pretty zen when they destroyed 8 containers of winter greens just to get 3 rare japanese lily bulbs that were in one of them (protected by a metal mesh, they had to throw down the container and break it, then they destroyed all the others - so much for their sense of smell... 125$ of damages, not counting all the wasted efforts, but now they started fighting around the bonsaï. They threw one of them down today, and I'm pretty much afraid that for nasty disease-ridden rodents that dare threaten my trees, it's the death penalty... mice, rats or squirrels (or their flying cousin and honorary rodent the pigeon), the rule's the same: I can share my balconies with pests, but if they get near the bonsaï, they just made themselves the Isengard to my Treebeard...

Rogue squirrels are indeed a pest to society. Have you tried capsin around the containers to ward them off?
