Werthead, when WILL the next Sea Beggars book be out? Are there still problems over the publishing rights?
Bantam are really cheesing Kearney off over the SEA BEGGARS situation. They kept the first two books in print a lot longer than they'd originally agreed to and he has to wait X amount of time (two years, I think) after they go out of print before the rights revert to him. Once that's done, Solaris will republish the whole series.
On the good news side, UK company Rebellion (who publish 2000AD and the various Judge Dredd magazines) have just bought out Solaris, so from the look of it the MONARCHIES OF GOD omnibuses are back on for mid-to-late 2010.

I don't think Donaldson is underappreciated so much as disliked.
