Have you tried anything new this year?
(New can refer to author, genre, style, etc.)
Oh, and a follow-up question: did you enjoy it?

I bought Jeff Somers' "The Eternal Prison", his third book about hired gun Avery Cates, but the first book of his that I've read. I liked the book, even if it was hard to follow in some areas. Not sure if I'll pick up any of his other books though.
I also picked up Jack Kilborn's "Afraid" about a covert team of trained (and psychotic) killers who crash land in a Wisconsin town, and hack and slash their way through the townspeople. I'd read a lot of his other stuff, and really enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to this.
Next time I get some cash, I'm also going to get "Death Troopers" by Joe Schreiber. Zombies and Star Wars, 'nuff said.
Now, if only Jim Butcher's "Changes" would come out...
Just one question re your reading this year.
