I read books on my computer.
I do not have a separate ebook reader. I do not have a Kindle. I'm reading most of my ebooks in pdf or lit format.
and honestly it's great. I read the first half of the Xanth series in paperback and hardcover format and then read the socond half in pdf format largely. (Anyone who has read Xanth knows I'm talking about a *lot* of books here.) I'm already on my computer every single moment of the except for when i'm not so I had no rtrouble shifting over.
The one thing I did experience difficultywith was, because I don't have a portable reader, how to read my ebooks on the bus. The way I fixed this was to convert the pdf into jpeg, a really simple process actually...if it does make my text a bit smaller than i'd like when read from the psp screen. This still has a few kinks to work out but once I get that figured out, I'll have no problems.
(For people who wonder how I'm reading lits on my computer, Microsoft has now made "Microsoft Reader for Windows." a free download.)

Ideally, universities will start renting out eTextbook readers, or something. *NM*

That'd be great. My school rents out standard ebook readers now, so it won't be long. *NM*
