The Last Apprentice series by Joseph Delaney (Spook's Apprentice in the UK) Bryce Send a noteboard - 04/09/2009 01:22:43 AM
I don't know if they're really under appreciated since I'm not twelve years old, but I certainly haven't ever heard anyone mention them before. I think these books are totally awesome and can only imagine that an early teen would whole-heartedly agree. They're by Joseph Delaney and there are something like 6 books already. I think they're great fun, and just the right amount of gore and scare for early teen readers. Seriously, get off the computer if you have a kid that age and go make them read one, just so I can see if they really are cool or if I'm still ten years old in my mind.
