I didn't know anything about Goodkind when I started reading his books. Danu Send a noteboard - 04/09/2009 12:52:37 AM
It's been a long time since I've read either Goodkind or Jordan.
I read them both around the same time, and if I remember correctly I liked Wizard's First Rule better than Eye of the World. I absolutely LOVED Kahlan!

But then...as I got deeper into the series I discovered I didn't like it so much. I started becoming annoyed by recurring philosophical/political themes that he seemed to be going on and on about.
I think I did give Goodkind an honest read, seeing as I didn't know anything about him beforehand.
That His Dickness is in fact a dick comes through loud and clear in his books.

Thankyouverymuch.
