I'm nearly finished with the first "book" in Tanith Lee's Secret Books of Paradys. These books were originally released separately, but I still feel kind of guilty for listing them as separate, since I'm reading them in the omnibus. But the omnibus is huge! Is it maybe time for me to get over it and go ahead and list them separately, like I didn't do with The Book of Jhereg or Wraeththu?
(I know, this is not a life or death situation. But it's still bugging the hell out of me.)

I mean, the point of the challenge is to remind you to keep reading, not to make you fall foul of numerical semantics.
So, as jh says, decide for yourself what the rules mean in this case, and then go forth and obey them.
But at the point that you find yourself obsessing over the numbers rather than the books, I think you need to throw the challenge away, because it is not helping you, and you're not getting the best you can from it.
