I am far too used to the physical weight of a book; holding it in my hand, feeling it, carrying it with me. I like the motion of turning pages and being able to run my finger along a page.
I also wouldn't want to have to be all wired up to read something; a Kindle or whatnot surely has to be charged, or have batteries put in. A physical book can be taken anywhere and read at any time, even if you are, for instance, on a month-long safari in Africa without any electricity at all.
Perhaps I am old-fashioned.

Ideally, universities will start renting out eTextbook readers, or something. *NM*

That'd be great. My school rents out standard ebook readers now, so it won't be long. *NM*
