Too much political correctness. We need more study on religions. Plural. Discuss and compare and contrast the world's religious, the books they are based on, and the political and cultural milieus they currently inhabit.

Perhaps because I just finished reading it, Thomas Cahill's "The Desire of the Everlasting Hills" has had me thinking a lot about how Christianity (as a belief system, and how it's been implemented/practiced) has grown over the course of two millenia.
