Also, at the time I thought it was just one book and its sequel, A Wind in the Door. Then a couple years ago I discovered two more books, A Swiftly Tilting Planet and Many Waters. And just last month I found out there was a fifth book, An Acceptable Time. All are good (although I liked the earliest ones best).
