I was living at the time on a dirt road on about 3.5 acres so I could see the stars clearly at night. I made it a goal to watch throughout the year and learn to spot the main twelve constellations used in the horoscope. It was quite enriching to go out and be able to finally spot the constellations I had been trying so hard to see. I remember at that time too Mars was very close to the earth and was clearly seen next to Scorpio. It was not hard to see why the ancients of all civilizations fell in love with the stars, they just kind of make one feel part of something so much bigger. I hope to take astronomy back up one day.
