Yeah, the Tor edition of Toll the Hounds came out three months after the Bantam edition... but Canada got the Bantam edition before the Tor one was released in the US. I dunno, it seems to be getting more and more disjointed, and I'm having more difficulty getting my hands on them through Canada like I used to. ~shrug~
With publication in the same free trade zone, publishers will have to take that into account, you know. earlier years the US people weren't particularly interested. I think it most likely has something to do with that, and the fact that the UK publisher will want to sell to all the markets in europe without a US competitor... (I know for a fact that you see a lot of different US/UK version in bookstores here, so it could be something like that. Most likely it's just wild speculation)

Not really. It was a 5-year wait between GotM coming out in the UK and USA.

I think Canada adapts to the US, rather than the UK, in most cases. *NM*
