I haven't really reread any of it so far... Aside from sometimes reading the same paragraph a second or third time to understand it fully.
But then, I'm probably a horrible reader. I tend to just enjoy the story and not pick up the tiny details and cues that can be found in the text, which probably means Gene Wolfe is not for me - either that or he'll cure me of this problem, lol. But I'm finding the books really good despite missing a large portion of those hints. Especially in certain parts, where a quote or a thought just really strike something within me, or where I especially like the way he wrote or phrased something.

I am rather confident that reading Wolfe, especially Book of the New Sun, makes most people feel just like that. I really didn't start picking up on some of the deeper story elements and clues until a second reading. The first reading I could tell that a lot was going on, but I was more working on just reading the story and understanding the surface story. They are beautifully written and told stories and can and should be enjoyed in those ways.
What are you reading in January, plus...

Probably either Magician or Le Comte - both is looking unlikely atm.
