Whatever scene it was when Harry first had a "glimpse" of the connection between his mom and Snape. But I'm usually pretty quick with inter-character connections and their effects on the characters--Characters and their development is pretty much my only "strong" suit. So yah, maybe I'm just weird

I think it's a rather silly motivation overall, but it is rather "sweet" and it does work . Even if it is a bit silly
