The Book of Lost Things was excellent! I loved the twisted versions of fairy tales in it (score one for judging a book by its cool designy cover!) After that, I read the Last Unicorn (Peter S. Beagle), another fairy tale sort of story that I bought for Alicia and ended up loving when I read it myself.
I also read John Scalzi's "Agent to the Stars" (the online version) which I enjoyed. It had a very different take on the idea of alien contact that I found very amusing.
At the moment, I'm reading Ken Scholes' "Canticle", thanks to THE GIVEAWAY (all capitals of course
) The first third of the book is great, and I'm hoping there's plenty more development for Neb and Isaak!
