Every bookstore I've ever been in has a horror section.
Some of those do and some of them don't, depending on the store layout and manager's choice. Most of them split the books by author or sub-genre to where they get shelved. All Stephen King books typically get shelved in Literature where nearly all Urban Fantasy is in with Sci-Fi & Fantasy.
Categorizing of fiction books...
